The students at Yates Elementary School are hungry for technology integration. They would like to be able to participate in online activities such as studyladder.org or online calculators that allow them to see how lines are graphed on the coordinate plane. Allowing students to use of technology in the classroom not only motivates them to learn more through a means that connects to their generation of learning, but also helps them learn to be technological citizens and prepares them for the future that lies ahead. Students are often turned off by mathematics because they can't see the power the technology or other means of learning can do for their mathematical experiences.

About my class
