As a math teacher, I have realized that I will come across students who love math and students who dislike math. The students who love math are most likely the students who do well in math. However, the students who dislike math, most likely have a hard time understanding it so they consider it boring. I want to bring technology into my classroom to show my students that MATH IS FUN! I want to give my students a variety of ways to better understand the topic being taught. Technology, more specifically these Chromebooks, can help me do so! My students work with their partners or in small groups daily. I can have them share these Chromebooks to explore the topic on the Internet, develop their own lessons to share with the class, use video tools, etc. These Chromebooks will give me the opportunity to make my lessons more interesting as well. I have developed a Google Classroom for each of my classes where they can comment, post, and review materials I have posted. I also would like to incorporate other Google apps such as Padlet in my classroom. Students can also use Google Slides in small groups to develop a lesson as well. These Chromebooks definitely will bring life and excitement to my classroom!
