My name is Katy Handell and I teach 3,4, and 5 year olds with disabilities. I serve 20 students (10 in the morning and 10 in the afternoon) with varying disabilities and skill ranges. My students come to school 5 days a week for 2 hours and 40 minutes daily. While my students are at school, we work very hard but have lots of fun at the same time. We work on cognitive, social/emotional, daily living, and motor skills daily. My goal for each of my students and their families is to have a positive first school experience and for my students to make gains as quickly as possible in all areas of development.
