These fantastic manipulatives will give my students great a opportunity to work on building a strong number sense in mathematics. Young children need to have hands on items to help focus and explore the mathematical concepts needed to move up through the grades. Focusing on numbers through ten frames and rekenreks will help my students to visualize and cement the composing and decomposing of these numbers. Also using different manipulatives help build fun and adventure within math classrooms and beyond. This building of the love of math can be contagious and can grow as the students get older.
