I teach at an elementary school in Minneapolis. I pull small groups of students from each classroom and provide intensive math interventions. This allows students to work in a safe and comforting environment where they can work at their own level. The goal is that they can accept what they don't know without being embarrassed by their peers, and works towards learning the math skills that are essential for their grade. The school-wide intervention system is working well, but the students need more math tools to help them succeed.

About my class
