About my class

These materials will play a large part in the classroom community that we have developed as teachers. We want students to have a choice in how they are sitting and learning. This gives students the ability to understand their own bodies, which is such an important part of being a good citizen. The students will be using these supplies to do just this. Each student will have the chance to pick a seat that they are going to feel comfortable and motivated to learn in, ultimately giving them a chance to succeed in school. These Wobble cushions, stability balls, and stools will help students achieve higher goals without having to worry about sitting how someone thinks they should sit. As part of our Social Emotional Standards, students are to gain a sense of awareness for how they learn and retain information. Having the ability to do this, just through choice, is huge.
