My students have a wide variety of learning levels, educational and behavioral needs, and learning styles. Students' academic goals include reading, math and writing, in addition to behavior goals. I would love to have the technology available to individualize extra practice for each student. Apps can be downloaded that give my students specific practice on the skills they need to work on. For those students reading below grade level, they can listen and follow along with assigned texts. I will also use technology as a tool to teach students different strategies and to research information for assignments. The Kindle Fire's will enable me to individualize learning opportunities for my students. Kids are motivated by technology. I would like to provide them with motivating ways to practice the skills needed to meet their goals.
