I teach kindergarten at a school with an incredibly diverse student population. Students from many socioeconomic statuses, countries, and ethnic backgrounds are represented at our school and in our classroom. I have students in my class with different behavioral, social, and academic challenges. My class is like a family: We love each other, we respect each other, and we all work together. My students are excited to come to school each day to grow as a community and as individuals.
