Currently, the students look forward to coming to the library to do something a bit different with their day. Especially if they're struggling in school, working with their hands is a welcome creative outlet. As we only have a couple of sets right now, the students often have to wait to get a turn. Both the Magna-Tiles and Snap Circuits help students think critically, solve problems and use their creativity. They are eager to feel successful, and love the feeling of solving problems, creating something concrete, and learn experientially. It is amazing to see the way students have learned to work co-operatively with each other along with the other skills they are learning while working with these apparatus.

About my class
