I am the physical education teacher and athletic director at my middle school. Body movements and functions are the main educational objective I want the students to take away from my class to aid individual, family and community health. Americans are facing the worst obesity epidemic in history and we need to keep our kiddos active. Having the ability to use an ipad to provide tech savy assessment pieces and endless apps, would allow me to virtually bring my curriculum to life. Any donation toward this technology request would be very much appreciated to allow my students to create, enjoy, and educate the youth of america on the benefits of living a healthy lifestyle. Allowing all my students the opportunity to have access to wi-fi and/or a single device can directly impact the learning in order to connect those body movements and functions to the activities or games we play. Allowing my students to promote physical activity and activity time, through video/photo assessments and feedback for my class will aid in the enhancement of healthy behaviors through 21st learning. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity.
