The Aquaponics kit will bring hands on Next Generation Science Standards and Environmental Science experiences for my students. Teaching with an aquaponics set brings math and science to my students in a fun, innovative, and refreshing perspective because it makes these topics applicable and meaningful to the daily lives of my students. In addition, my students will need to work together in order for our aquaponics system to function properly, building in a sense of community and teamwork. Each day in the classroom is meant to be meaningful and through this donation my students will develop hands-on skills that they will be able to use throughout their lives.
