We wish to change our lab's learning environment to allow student flexible seating/standing and encourage collaboration while working on projects. The furniture requested(stools) in this project will give our students those seating/standing options. Another goal is to encourage collaborative work, the round tables and students clustered together motives students to problem solve and work together on projects. For example, our broadcast script writers can be clustered together brainstorming and writing creative scripts. In digital art, student groups can brainstorm and create corporate brand designs and logos. The tables are collapsible and moveable which allows us to create more open space in the classroom when needed for whole group discussions and activities.
