Current Video Production resources cannot keep up with the high demand by students and staff we do the best we can to meet evolving needs. In a school of over 75 students we currently have 3 functional camcorders and tripod sets for student use in class, and in the building by staff. With class sizes of up to 12 in Video Production courses the presence of only 3 cameras limits the project potential for students by forcing group work constraints based on the amount of materials we currently possess. We seek to expand our available a/v equipment so that students may further explore advanced work in video and staff may more readily utilize our filming equipment. Additionally, we currently run our morning announcements broadcast via a built-in webcam on the computer, in a small corner of our classroom. The acquisition of an HD webcam and green screen kit would increase the quality of our broadcast and expand our offerings to a mini-studio for faculty and student use. We welcome help to make our technology department improvements possible!
