I work in a low-income district where students depend on school, and specifically my classroom, for consistency, support and love. My job is to love, inspire, and motivate k-2 students! The students in my classroom are my 'other kids'; that means they're my family. I would not trade my duty to educate students who need the most love for anything in the world! My students have the biggest hearts and sometimes come from some of the most heartbreaking situations. Most of the students in my district are on free and reduce meal plans, meaning they are served breakfast, lunch and also sent home with food for dinner. Resilient is the word I would use to describe my kids. They are hard working and deserve the most out of this life. Please consider donating to our class to make their lives a little easier!
