My students use these calculators to graph functions, discover relationships between data and more. This week we used our calculators to find out what the relationship was between our height and our arm span. We used measurements from the whole class to find the answer. We need these requested four Texas Instruments TI-83 Graphing Calculators to keep up with growing class sizes! Currently I do not have enough graphing calculators for everyone. Students often share with others or go without. Graphing calculators are expensive and most students cannot afford to purchase one of their own or bring one from home. These calculators are crucial for learning the material they need to master in high school.
