My students work well when they are given a hands-on activity. They enjoy being creative and taking home a piece of what they have been learning in school. Art supplies are always a necessary supply in a 3rd grade classroom because students enjoy being challenged and thinking creatively. Daily we are outside participating in physical education activities. They play many games like kickball, dodge ball, and four square. The equipment requested would be a great asset to our daily routine. These supplies, like the organizational bins, paper, crayons and physical education equipment would help my student to begin working creatively and as a team and not solely as individuals. Creativity and group work are important things for students to learn because they are going to have to use those skills when they go out into the real world.
