My students enjoy working with their hands making 3D art and this year I am introducing them to basic stone sculpting. They are carving alabaster; however, we are in need of some basic tools such as rasps and rifflers. I have been supplying some of my old tools that the students share and I would like to supply them with enough tools and trays. The students are introduced to stone sculpting throughout history and across various cultures and are in the process of creating their own simple organic forms. They are learning about alabaster, basic sculpting techniques, and how to use basic tools such as rasps and rifflers.
