My All-Day Kindergarten student need to move. With six and a half hours of instruction a day we often move around the room to keep our young bodies stimulated and do hands on activities. But, we also need to do paper and pencil tasks at our desk throughout the day as well. These seats can help make seat work possible for those students that need movement or stimulation while getting paper and pencil tasks complete. They can also help prevent others from getting distracted with noise or jumping up out of traditional chairs. Kindergarten students need to move. At times they need to wiggle. It's just developmentally appropriate. These chairs can help give my students what they need.
