In my classroom, we provide students with many opportunities to choose books of interest in order to read to themselves and others to help improve their reading skills. These books (Elephant and Piggie and Pigeon) will help my students by giving them the opportunity to read books within their level and those that are of interest to them. Having this opportunity within the classroom helps my students to develop a love and appreciation of reading as well as to further develop the reading skills. Developing good reading skills is essential to growing and shaping my students into active and productive citizens in the community and in the world!

About my class
