This coming school year, I have been given the wonderful opportunity to teach ELL students. Some of my students require intensive academic support. We will be using these iPads for apps such as ChatterKid, where students can build language acquisition by recording their voice and replaying the recording to strengthen listening and speaking skills. Not only will the iPads be used for promoting literacy, but will also be used to build math facts and math fluency on the Pages app. My goal is to provide my students with consistent access to technology in order to create authentic learning experiences for the 21st century learner. Outside of our classroom, there are over 500 students on our campus sharing a limited quantity of chrome books. Having access to 2 iPads will insure that my students will be able to utilize technology every day in the classroom.
