When you ask a second grader their favorite part of the day, most of them will say RECESS! I feel that not all of my students would say that they enjoy recess and I want to make that happen for ALL of my students. Having these items will allow ALL of my students the opportunity to have a wonderful recess experience. Giving students more choices at recess will allow them to engage in different ways and with other students. Recess allows students to be creative, imagine, to socialize with peers, and most importantly to MOVE. After a recess, students are able to attend and perform more successfully. These items will allow my students a more successful recess experience.
