Many of my students come from low income homes. Our district, like many, has limited funds to provide extra supplemental materials for our classrooms. In my room I like to have stations where my students can create inventions using a variety of materials and it has gotten so popular with my kids that I cannot afford to add to it any longer. My Maker Space contains S.T. E. M. Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math Materials. I would greatly appreciate your help to enlarge this space in my classroom because it helps students use many of the concepts we have learned in our content areas and solidify their learning while spurring on their interests.
