This project will provide supplies for my classroom community cart. This allows the students to borrow whatever supplies they need with no reservations. No need to ask. Anytime during notes, work, tests, and activities, they can get up and use what they need. We frequently take notes in our math notebooks. These notes are interactive and require lots of glue, scissors, colored utensils such as highlighters, crayons, markers, etc. This allows for their notes to be theirs. I tell them frequently to make their notes where they are eye-catching, they can read, understand, study, but specifically reteach their notes if necessary. These notebooks are a vital part of our classes and these materials are used​ every day. All students should have access to the materials to be able to actively participate in all things. Authentic creativity, interactive and meaningful notes increase engagement and retention. The only expectations for the supplies are respected and returning them. The students do such a fine job of following these expectations. I hope to keep the supply cart full all year
