Kids are always on the move! Traditional classrooms have students sitting still at a desk for much of the day. Most children enjoy having the ability to wiggle and move as they are thinking and working. Students with sensory processing disorders, like some of my students, can reach their full potential when they can move on a stability ball. The stability ball gives my students a much needed outlet for the excess energy and sensory needs that could hinder their achievement. Having this resource can assist my students in an increase in focus and attention. In turn, the students will have the best chance for success in the classroom.
