My students require extra sensory supports to help them stay focused so they can learn. Some of my students require a quiet learning environment. The headphones and Yakker Tracker will help to create that. My students who struggle to sit still will benefit from the weighted lap pads and bumpy pillows. Fidgety hands will be calmed by the sensory toys and bands. Having these supports will help my students to be able to reach their full potential. Students come to school with many different learning needs. It is important that my co-teacher and I find as many resources as possible to help kids and to meet those needs.
