It is my hope to get students excited to come to my classroom, and this classroom library is one way that I hope to achieve that. I will use the Ikea bookcases to create student benches (using the FoamTouch upholstery foam and P Kaufman outdoor fabric). This area will serve my students during silent reading time as well as provide a place for students to collaborate in a more peaceful environment. It will also serve as a place to store many of our classroom supplies and books about math (to get them more excited about it!). The Posprica Collapsible Cube Organizers will store classroom supplies that the students will have access to, such as markers, calculators, rulers, reading books, etc. The more access a student has to books, the more successful a reader he/she is.
