I work with students in a lab setting that have difficulties in reading, language arts and/or math in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. I am always looking for different ways to meet their individual needs. The Ipad and the Osmo Genius kit would provide my students with a unique tool to help them learn in a fun and captivating way. My students would be more willing to use this program on the Ipad because it looks like a game. They would be more willing to keep trying to succeed, even if it is hard, because it is learning disguised as a game. This program is expensive. I will also share the Ipad and the Osmo Genius Kit with Mrs. Nichols, another lab teacher in our building who serves the younger students, Pre-K though 2nd grade with difficulties in reading, language arts and math in the lab setting.
