Our elementary school focuses on recognizing positive behavior choices from our students and motivating our students to learn. To do this, we have implemented several positive behavior supports throughout our school year. Your generous donation will recognize our student's positive behaviors, exemplary academic focus and leadership skills. We do this by utilizing our Pride coupons (daily) and Outstanding Student Certificates (monthly). Students receive Pride coupons by helping another student or school staff, doing an act of kindness for someone, doing their best on a class assignment, reaching academic goals, and many others. These coupons are placed in Pride containers throughout the school. Drawings are daily on school wide morning announcements. Students receive token prizes as incentives. Outstanding students are selected from each classroom, for being a good examples for all students. These students consistently have good attendance, are attentive in the classroom, do their homework, are a friend to everyone and are a good problem solver with their peers. Our Outstanding students are recognized at a monthly "Donuts with the principal", get their picture taken for our school Facebook page, receive a certificate and star student necklace.
