In my classroom, my students work with interactive notebooks in both math and science. Our interactive notebooks are a composition notebook set up as a simple, functional system for students to create, write, and explore all their ideas in the same place. My students and I will both benefit from the document camera and heavy duty pencil sharpeners during each day of instruction. The document camera will help me model what needs to be done in our interactive notebooks for our math and science lessons. The pencil sharpeners will allow the students to have sharpened pencils to complete their assignments.
