The students will be using the materials to manipulate and explore math in many different ways according to their learning preferences. Each of my students have different learning styles, and I would like to accommodate all learning styles so students are successful and confident in the learning process. When they are learning, I want to offer my students choice so they can continue to be eager about their learning. The dry erase markers and boards will allow my students to demonstrate their learning on their whiteboard. The whiteboards and dry erase markers will also allow students to increase fine motor skills. When learning about composing and decomposing numbers, the magnetic ten frames will allow students to practice solving problems and representing numbers. The tactile and kinetic learners will be able to manipulate the materials by touching and holding them and will provide a visual for my students to practice their math skills. The Tangoes are going to be used to make shapes and different objects out of shapes. The foam magnetic numbers are going to be used in many ways, for example solving problems, practicing number recognition and for number of the day.
