We recently started reading and writing workshop in our second grade classroom and have been developing a leveled classroom library to support the students at all reading levels and interests. The nonfiction units of study are fast approaching and we need a nonfiction leveled library to assist and encourage the wide range of readers and writers with varied interests in the class. Your generous donation of nonfiction books will provide the students with a nonfiction library to choose appealing books at their reading level. We have been building our classroom library throughout the school year. The students have been eagerly collecting book donations to use as their main textbooks for learning.
