My project will help student control their excessive energy while allowing them to exercise and ignore distractions. ADHD students have an excess of energy and through these desk cycles they are given the opportunity to channel their energy into exercise. The fidget cubes give these students an outlet for their blurting out and constant need for movement. Providing tools such as the fidget cubes and desk cycles to my students will allow a higher level of thinking and learning. Through the use of these materials special needs students are able to decrease distractions and increase their learning abilities in a positive fashion.
