Growing up I always dreamed of being a teacher. When I graduated from college, I never pictured myself as preschool teacher in a school district where I am a minority and many of the kids that walk through my door each day have faced more hardships and challenges in their four short years of life than I have in my lifetime, but that is exactly what I got. While being a teacher in low income, high poverty school district with a wealth of diversity has provided new challenges for me on a daily basis, it has also been the most rewarding experience of my life and I wouldn't want to teach anywhere else.

About my class
