The second monitor will be used to help aid student learning in both a hybrid and completely remote module. I am currently teaching using the hybrid module and it's a bit of a task using one screen to display and 'monitor' my online students. I want to ensure that I am giving my remote/virtual students just as much attention as I am with those that are face-to-face. I am unable to see each student with only one screen while displaying the lesson's presentation. This would also help in a completely remote setting as well. As a teacher, we now have notifications and different applications going at multiple times. It is difficult having to switch back and forth between various tabs. Again, having an extra monitor would help with work overload also. As mentioned in my previous paragraph, in this same setting, I would also be able to 'monitor' my whole class while presenting.
