Areas within my classroom that I have noticed students struggling include staying focused, as well as making eye contact with the person they are working with. Students need choices and the ability to move! Having a seating up that is just a little different than your basic school tables/desks gives students the ability to choose what works best for them. If students want to work on floor, grab a pillow and for it. If students want to work with a partner, sit at the table. Need to wiggle? grab a cushion. The options with flex seating can be endless when teachers have the resources available for students inside the classroom.
