Second grade is an essential stepping stone in literacy learning. My students love reading and I love that about them. However, at the moment, our books are stacked one on top of the other in 3 small bins. This make D.E.A.R. (Drop Everything and Read) especially difficult because they are almost impossible to keep in order. A bookshelf that will allow them to clearly see all the books they have will make all the difference in the world for my second graders. Individual reading time is incorporated into our schedule every day. This will be the best gift they've received all year. Your generosity is greatly appreciated!
