This is one of my two Juniors World Lit. classes this year, and as the world map in the background suggests, we are on a global education journey, currently to Afghanistan, then to South Africa, and beyond to India next year. As a recent graduate of the Teachers for Global Classrooms program, I am committed to bringing Global Education to my students. It is part of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Article 26.2, that everyone has a right to an education that includes learning about and from our peers across the globe in order to promote peace, tolerance, and understanding among nations.

About my class
