All of the students in our class are eager to succeed and do their best this year. During group lessons on the rugs, we have alternative seating for students who desire it and who learn better with it. However, when the students leave the rug area to do work at their seats, this alternative seating is no longer available. Whether it be working independently at their seats, small group at a table or one on one, our students are constantly needing to move their bodies in order to learn new information, as well as to demonstrate their knowledge. These stools will help them to do this in a safe way, so that they can focus on their work. The hooki stools will significantly help our kids across various content areas. They will be able to receive the sensory input they desire, in a way that will enhance their learning or other students' learning. This will improve student learning and the class environment, since distractions will be minimized.
