I am a special education teacher in a Title 1 school-- where nearly ALL of the students are low income here in Nashville. Many students have lived through trauma I would never wish upon anyone, and come to school looking for a safe and secure environment-- ready to learn with smiles on their faces. I am always looking how to best help the students I teach with their sensory, behavioral and educational needs.
