Public school music teacher bringing 14 years of general education experience to fine arts! I am back to my first love... MUSIC! I'm striving to give my students the best education they can get. Music is not a "fluff" subject. Music is an integral part of our children's education because it is an integral part of all of our lives. Music moves us. It helps us express ourselves. It works part of the brain that other subjects don't reach. I strive to make my classroom a place where students can have fun and exercise their bodies and minds. I encourage students to sing out with their unique voices and understand that musicians are not just the ones winning Grammys or selling out stadiums. We are all musicians and must find our own voice. I am very blessed to have the resources available to me. I want to find more resources to reach my diverse group of students.
