These math and literacy center activities, I have chosen for my students, will help them to succeed in our classroom. During center time, when students break up into small groups to complete lessons and activities both independently and with myself or their peers, they have the opportunity to learn while having fun. The activities in these kits will allow students of all academic abilities to succeed. With a high population of ESL students, the literacy books will help those children to learn more about the English language and help to ensure that they do not fall behind due to language barriers. With so many different learning styles and abilities for our students today, it is important to differentiate classroom lessons for them to ensure that everyone is able to learn. Providing lessons and activities that are both educational and fun, and can be used with students of various abilities, can only help to further their academic goals and achievements.
