Flexible seating will help students get the wiggles out while they are learning. The idea is to give students options so they can figure out what type of seating works best for their learning style. Hopefully if the brain is stimulated that will also help with students that are having trouble staying focused during instructional time. Other teachers have seen great improvements with behavior issues and focusing issues during class time. Students in my class need a variety of different types of seating to help them be the best student that they can be. Alternative seating is a must for all classrooms today!
