"Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn." Benjamin Franklin I am a science teacher to 80 5th grade students in a low income school district. In all of my daily lessons, I try to involve students and engage them with the content we are learning. Currently my science room is small, crowded, and has no outside light. One of the standards I teach is "Develop a model to describe the movement of matter among plants, animals, decomposers, and the environment."
