These materials will make a difference in my students' learning by allowing them easy access to a printer in our classroom. Currently, we have to leave our classroom each time the students want to print out any of their writing documents. Having our own color printer will allow the students to remain in the classroom to print. The printer will also allow them to use colored text in their final copies of writing projects. This adds excitement to the writing process for the students as it allows them more creative freedom as they are choosing how they want their essays to be presented to their readers.
