In education, we are evolving to find the best way for our students to learn. We are dealing with more students who have attention problems and impulse problems. We are expecting kids to conform to the way we would sit on the carpet, since we started using carpet time in Elementary School. I believe that funding my project will allow my students flexibility to have wiggle time while engaging in whole group activities. This will also help them with staying in their own personal space; therefore allowing my students to stay safe. Often I see students wiggling and hurting other students or crawling over to "talk" and getting in their face, when they should be listening. My students need balance balls and wobble chairs while in a group to engage in learning and to be safe.
