My project is designed to meet the needs of my energetic students. My students enjoy learning in cooperative groups and working in different spaces in our classroom throughout the day. Some students enjoy working on with a clipboard on the floor, while others enjoy working in small groups at the kidney table. I also have learners that do their best work while they are wiggling just a bit. Where ever they choose to work I love watching them problem solve and learn as a community. With increasing flexible seating choices I am increasing their choices during the day, and teaching them how to thrive in their learning space. My students enjoy having the ability to choose their workspace as well as their work partners. I want to foster a fun learning environment that best suits the needs of my diverse learners and their needs. This project is requesting rugs and Wobble Chairs for flexible seating choices. The ability to have movement throughout the day will help increase motivation and brain activity.
