Flexible seating allows my students to choose where and how they learn best. Children learn best when they are comfortable and engaged. The flexible seating allows students to focus in a quiet corner on their own or join a group of peers to collaborate. Allowing the students to sit, stand, kneel, work in a group or by themselves, empowers them to be happier and more successful. This project will allow me to provide additional seating options for my students to include wobble chairs, pillows, and cushions. I know that if I can make my classroom environment a little more stimulating and comfortable for my students then they will be more engaged and eager to learn.
