I am the coach for my school's FTC Robotics team. We are an urban high school defined by poverty, where over 63% of the students qualify for free or reduced lunch, meaning they live at or below the poverty level. My team is comprised from various ethnic and socioeconomic background. The minority enrollment in our school is 62%. My goal is to expose my students to Engineering, Math, Science and Technology through Robotics and let them discover the opportunities within these fields.
