My students are very energetic and can't seem to stay in their seats. I have one Hokki chair that keeps getting rotated between the same few students in the classroom. My students would benefit from more of these stools in my classroom, especially during small group reading instruction. As a second year teacher, I am putting an huge emphasis on my students growth in reading to prepare them for middle school next year. Through my observations this year, I have noticed that my students can get very fidgety and tend to lean back in their chairs. When they lean back I get worried they will tip over. I have seen many teachers in my school use these Hokki stools and I have seen the success of their students after using these stools. Any support that I receive would go a long way into helping my students become more successful readers.
