My students need excellent literature to read independently. I need more titles in my library. Diverse group of students, mostly college bound. So bright! I teach 10th and 11th graders. I teach AP Language and American Literature. Many students do not have books at home and do not have time to go to the public library. I would like them to read further than what we read in class. Students are very high achieving. Students will get independent reading lists every quarter. They will also be able to choose their own titles. Students are creative, smart, and eager to learn. I'd like to get books from a few different sites. We need fiction and non-fiction books. I'd like high interest books that relate to our themes in the classroom.
